Emily is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience supporting client's individual and mental health needs. She has worked in various mental health settings including Day Treatment, Residential Treatment, state and hospital based outpatient clinics, and private practice.
Emily also has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, trauma related disorders, eating disorders, grief and loss, as well as adjustment concerns to stress and transitions.
In the past two years, Emily has gained experience supporting active duty military families and the veteran community. Emily also has training and experience supporting LBGTQIA communities, especially those seeking support for transgender related issues and concerns.
Emily utilizes strategies from various best practice modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma- Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy. Emily believes in the importance of working collaboratively to decide what support and strategies fit your needs best.
