Group Counseling
One of the more powerful interventions when struggling with the changes of motherhood is validation. Group therapy is one way to access that care and support.
Our Moms Therapy Group (MTG) will provide a setting in which women can share their experiences about common challenges with motherhood in order to make meaningful connections, learn strategies to attain confidence and improve coping abilities. This group will cover topics such as maternal guilt & shame, changing & conflicting roles, communication with spouse/partner, and what it means to be a “good enough” mom.
This is a closed group, meaning that participants will be the same for the duration of the 8-weeks.
Group meets Wednesdays from 12:00-12:50 PM at Waypoint Counseling in Durham.
