Pashyon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate with 5 years of experience supporting clients’ mental health needs including mothers and women from various socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. She has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and grief and loss. She is a trauma informed therapist and aims to create a safe and inclusive space for her clients.
Pashyon prioritizes the importance of each individual’s values, culture, and unique lived experience. She has worked in various settings throughout her career including academia, military family support services, and housing transition services.
As a mental health professional, Pashyon integrates therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to ensure her client's counseling experience will reflects their needs, goals, and values.
Pashyon has first-hand experience with major life transitions as spouse and woman who start her motherhood journey while living aboard. She wants each client she serves to feel, seen, heard and understood. She looks forward to holding a safe and supportive space for you on your journey to wholeness.
